Art and Fashion (Freeway)

Freeway launches its National Artist Collectors’ Series by paying tribute to Carlos “Botong” Francisco celebrating his 100th anniversary (4-November-1912). 

He hails from Angono, Rizal and is famous for Blood Compact, Bayanihan, First Mass at Limasawa, The Martyrdom of Rizal, and Sandugo to name a few. They showcased love of the country and depicted a deep sense of culture.

I am a fan of the artist whose works inspired one of my poems.

Freeway honors him as National Artist for Visual Arts. From murals to wearable art, the collection shows prints of Botong’s paintings in dresses of corporate and causal flair, watches, accessories and others.

Each item comes in a special packaging and a biography tag. Here are some of the pieces:
