“There was a time, between 1978 and 1982, when Marikina’s women’s shoes and handbags made of snakeskin were the rave on Fifth Avenue, New York City” – an excerpt from marikina.gov.ph.

This 2012, Marikina City holds “Sapatos Festival” which marks their 125th year. The festival, which opened two months ago, continues to soar with a thousand pairs of shoes sold. With its theme “Walk This Way”, it aims to encourage people to check out the city’s quality yet affordable shoes. Not to mention, astounding patterns and creative designs.  Visit Marikina and enjoy up to 30% discount.
