Now on its 7th year, four films that capture the real meaning of Christmas will surely touch the hearts of everyone, i.e., beyond commercialism, family and values come first.

Renowned directors and well-known actors top this year’s short film festival.

Homecoming – directed by Joel Ruiz
Follow the story of a precocious 7 year old boy named Carlo, played by the Kapuso child star Migs Cuaderno who eagerly awaits the Christmas homecoming of his dad who works abroad. However, this yearly tradition of his dad’s visit will be cut short as he learns that his dad will be leaving the day after Christmas. See how Carlo overcomes this saddening news and makes one of the most unforgettable Christmas memories that their family would cherish forever.

Ligaw – directed by Marla Ancheta
Join Ramon as he falls in love with the girl of his dreams. With Christmas just around the corner, will he be able to win her over in time? Featuring the comedy internet action star Ramon Bautista and GMA’s rising leading lady Andrea Torres, Ligaw is a charming and quirky Christmas love story packed with good laughs that will leave you wanting more.

Love is Blind – directed by Raul Jorolan
The Christmas season highlights how we express our love for our family... in whatever way possible. And this short film definitely proves this familial love to be true as we witness the tale of Tina and her family’s ways to show their love for one another regardless of their position in life. See the expression of love through the eyes of Tina and her relationship with her mother, brought to life by the acting prowess of veteran actress Rio Locsin.

Memory Lane – directed by Topel Lee
A mother tries to keep her family together despite having an OFW husband and kids who by growing up started to grow apart. Will she find a way to bring them all together or is the distance between them too impossible to overcome? Catch Sid Lucero as he stars in this heartwarming Christmas short film.
