Layering does not only apply to pieces of clothing but also to fragrances. In my opinion, you can do so in two ways. First, by using different products of the same perfume range. Second, by mixing various scent altogether.
For the purpose of discussion, I'd like to tackle the first option. A product line for a fragrance may come in bath gel / soap, lotion, and perfume / cologne spray.
I was taking a stroll at the mall and found myself buying Bench's "Sweet Serendipity" lotion and body spray.
Got a whiff of the scent and I couldn't put the products down.
Sweet Serendipity has notes of apple, jasmine, rose and vanilla. It's sweet but not overpowering.
So what are the benefits of layering? It will build a scent that lasts throughout the day. Create a standout fragrance since there is no clashing of notes.
You are already prepping your skin with the use of a shower gel. Too bad I was not able to get one for this line.
Don't fret 'cause you can use something light and fresh. Those with hints of coconut and vanilla are easy to layer too.
Next, put on moisturizing lotion. Moisturizers tend to extend the scent.
Don't forget to spray on perfume on pulse points like the inside of the wrists, back of the ear and the base of the throat.
